Ben Martin is a currently studying journalism and public relations at Geelong’s Deakin University and has been a sports journalist at The Colac Herald since May 2010. He grew up in Colac, graduating Colac College in 2007. He plays football in the Colac and District Football League for Otway Districts and basketball for Demons Celtics in the Colac Basketball Association. He specialises in basketball, football, tennis, baseball and athletics reporting.
