Tigers book spot in preliminary final

The Colac Tigers’ senior footballers have booked a spot in the Geelong Football League preliminary final following a thrilling semi-final win today.

Colac’s midfield brigade chats during today’s three-quarter-time break, before overrunning Bell Park in the final quarter.

The Tigers trailed Bell Park by five points heading into the final term at Simonds Stadium, but stormed home with five goals to two to steal a 14.14 (98) to 12.12 (84) win.

Colac will take on minor premiers St Josephs in this weekend’s grand final, with a spot in the grand final against St Marys up for grabs.
