Dry growing season puts strain on crops

Dry weather in the optimum growth period has affected Richard Barclay’s crops. He has 1200 hectares of crops including canola, wheat, barley, sabre beans and oats.

A BEEAC farmer says a dry winter has left his crops “on a knife edge” as he hopes for a wet spring.
