  1. Very well said Juggy. The “Life Councils Way” “hairy caterpillar” slogan took two attempts and cost over $50,000. Imagine what our community cold have done with those ratepayer funds.
    And here we go again…………….

    1. Thanks, and too right Chris… Those fund could of been invested in foreshore improvement such as lighting & CCTV or a number of other things.
I’m still waiting to see the revised plans for the CBD so I can nit pic them.

  2. By the second last paragraph I took it that staff and members would decide on final logo, but apparently not so according the a COS staff member.
Also, I don’t see the need for a logo change, not if you follow the leas of multi million dollar companies that have held the same for 100yrs or more. But what would I know, I’m a yr 9 drop out!

  3. Another waste of ratepayers money. IF a new logo is needed why not give the oportunity for it to be designed by our very talented VCE students. Award a $500 prize. Ratepayers win, student wins and we would almost certainly end up with a far better logo.

    1. and that’s exactly what everyone said should of happened with that stupid COOLAC (COLAC) sign that we had no choice in.

  4. I would like to add that I hope all the new stationary, signs, uniforms etc. are all done by local businesses… otherwise I’ll be very disappointed.
