Demand for state to tackle Colac district weeds

Colac Otway Shire Council will call on the State Government to enforce control of weeds such as ragwort and blackberries on private land and crown land. Cr Stephen Hart pushed for the request.

It would be nice to see the COS council allocate more funding to maintaining grass and weed throughout the shire on all lands… especially around rural intersections, road & rail reserves and water ways. I know some of it falls to state gov, but COS need to push for it… Cant just leave it for a few local people to push.
