Broadband boost for district

Corangamite MP Sarah Henderson and Communications Parliamentary Secretary Paul Fletcher revealed a plan to install 11 new fixed wireless facilities in the Corangamite electorate, and met with residents at Cororooke’s Red Rock Theatre and Art Gallery.

COLAC district residents and businesses are a step closer to superfast broadband internet with community consultation starting for the construction of 11 new fixed wireless towers.

  1. It is wonderful that “decent” telecommunications are comming to non big areas, like Gellibrand. Yes I have to agree with John, It’s VERY expensive on the NBN.

  2. All the NBN plans out there are way too expensive, I’m currently paying $2 a day, ‘$60 a Month’ for unlimited Data and phone calls ‘4g’ and I tether on my computer, so until they make the plans cost effective I wont be using it, but it is great news that is is finally coming to the area.
