IRATE ratepayers will rally at today’s Colac Otway Shire Council meeting to tell councillors to reject its draft budget.

122 individual people took the effort to make submissions to Council on a variety of issues. Very sadly NOT ONE was listened too.
There’s a fine line with this issue and in really not 100% where it is. But i look at it in the sense that if you live within a certain distance of the Colac CBD then your rates should go up.
We’re on the edge of town, have no footpath and apparently there’s no intention of 1 in the near future, but meh… not complaining about it either.
Sadly, most of their argument on the cards would come down to ‘their choice to live there’.
