Police hunt bungalow vandals

POLICE are hunting vandals who defaced a bungalow on a Camperdown property causing up to $5000 damage.

Sergeant Heather Morris of Camperdown police said unknown offenders entered the bungalow behind a Tait Street house and used spray paint to draw penises and write profanity “pretty much all over the place”.

Sgt Morris said the vacant bungalow was fully furnished and the vandals defaced the wall and furniture, causing between $3000 and $5000 damage between Tuesday night and 9.30am Wednesday.

She said police believed the offenders did not steal anything.

Sgt Morris said police were appealing for anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious in the area to contact police.
