BURGLARS have stolen a blood pressure monitor and other property from a Colac community centre.
Detective Peter Griffiths of Colac Criminal Investigation Unit said thieves forced their way through the back door of Colac Area Health’s Adult Day Activity Centre in Miller Street.
Det Griffiths said the burglars “rifled through the office area” on Tuesday night, stealing property including the blood pressure machine.
He said ADAC workers noticed the theft when they arrived at the centre on Wednesday morning.
Det Griffiths urged witnesses or anyone with information about the burglary to contact Colac CIU or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The burglary is the fourth on Colac health services in Miller Street in the past in four months.
Thieves hit Colac’s Neighbourhood House in January, stealing a laptop, digital camera and cash.
Would-be burglars also broke into Corangamite Clinic and Trotter’s Dental Rooms on the same night in January but left empty handed.

Absolutely disgusting. Obviously some people have too much time on their hands and don’t give a damn about the people who need these services and equipment.
